Wallet data
Recovery words and signing keys stay in protected storage on the device. BUMP does not upload them. Wallet labels, recent recipients, payment requests and activity are kept locally for the wallet experience.
Camera and nearby access
Camera access is used to scan payment QR codes. BUMP does not upload scanned images. Nearby access is used only when you start a nearby BUMP connection, and the payment still requires review and device approval.
Blockchain and payment networks
When you request balances or make a payment, the selected Bitcoin, Lightning or TRON network receives the technical information required to complete that request. Public blockchain transactions remain visible according to the rules of that network.
Tracking
The native wallet contains no advertising SDK and does not use cross-app tracking. App stores and operating-system services may process diagnostic or purchase information under their own privacy terms.
Removing local data
Back up the recovery words first. Removing the app clears its local app data, but it cannot remove transactions already recorded by a public network.
