Store them somewhere private and separate from this device.
Complete the recovery check before adding money.
Create an encrypted backup for your wallet names, contacts, activity, settings and connections.
Store the encrypted file and its password separately from your recovery words.
Open the saved file in BUMP to check it, and update it when your wallet changes.

Keep in mind: Neither backup replaces the other. Keep your recovery words private. BUMP support will never ask for them.
